Welcome to Playtime in the Plains! We're excited to share all the fun activities we have for everyone, no matter your age. Enjoy our homeschool corner, cozy reading nook, imagination station, and self-serve arts and crafts area. Plus, we have a soft play zone for our little ones, thrilling slides, dress-up options, so much more!

 

In addition to our exciting activities, we offer two fantastic private party packages to make your celebrations unforgettable. Choose from our monthly or yearly memberships for added fun all year round. And don’t forget to check out our coffee and snack bar, the perfect spot to relax recharge after all the play!

Both of our party packages include all of our play amenities, tables and chairs for up to 12 children, bar height table for party display or adult seating as well as the kitchen area for food storage

JUST PLAIN EVERYTHING - $350/ 2 HOUR EVENT

Experience the ultimate stress-free celebration with our Just Plain Everything party package! Gather your family and friends and let the fun begin. Choose up to two colors for your party decor, and enjoy a complimentary balloon bouquet set up by our dedicated staff. We handle everything from tablecloths and utensils to refreshing lemonade and clean-up, so you can focus on making memories!

PLAIN & SIMPLE - $200/ 2 HOUR EVENT

Plain & Simple Party Package offers everything you need for a fantastic event! Enjoy all of our play amenities and seating, with plenty of time for setup and cleanup. We take care of the fun, while you can focus on bringing the party magic. Let's make your gathering unforgettable! Party Host will be given 30 minutes to set up before their event as well as 30 minutes at the end of party to clean up.

Meet the Owner

Hi, I’m Krissa Lawhorn, the proud owner and heart behind Playtime in the Plains!

 

I’m a mama of four and a longtime childcare provider with a passion for early childhood development, creativity, and building strong community connections. After spending years caring for children in my home, I dreamed of creating a space where families could come together to play, connect, and make memories—without the stress of planning every little detail.

 

That dream became Playtime in the Plains: a fun, safe, and welcoming indoor play space designed for little ones to explore, imagine, and grow while parents can relax and enjoy the moment. From open play days to birthday parties and special events, my goal is to create an experience that feels joyful, family-friendly, and full of love.

 

Playtime isn’t just a business to me—it’s a mission, a community, and a place where families can truly feel at home.
